The American revolution was actually a reactionary revolt against the Norman Monarchy whose goal was to reestablish the Anglo-Saxon Witenagemot and Lincoln ruined all that. #Anglolivesmatter

Real talk: poor people are the most disadvantaged (I won't say oppressed as it implies an agent actively pushing them down); nothing else matters.

And unfortunately, so long as the rich people who claim to be the champions of the disadvantaged don't want to give up their own seats at the high table even though they try to guilt everyone else into doing so, they will actively resist any attempt to discuss the disadvantages suffered by people who are poor.

I say the most oppressed people are black people. That's because the whole system is working to keep them where they are. The way that everything works, the world as we know it, presupposes that you are as good as everyone else is, however, this isn't quite true for black people, and yes, it has to do with slavery. I know it is over and we should all move on, but you have to realize that this stuff still effects people now. Only the black people who were actively trying to get out of slavery were able to "get out of slavery" after it ended. That is to say that they were able to "become white", with the help of their advanced brains. Most slaves were pretty stupid and that didn't change just because they were free. Education wasn't important to them, so it wasn't important to their children and so on. Those people are still struggling because they don't have the me vs. you mindset. They are stuck in, "the government will help us", mentality, which has only become more and more accurate. The government seems to want to keep them where they are, in that they provide them with everything they need in their helpless stage, and then expect them to want to work hard. That's not possible. They no longer have a whip making them work hard, and they get free stuff, so why would they want that to change? They don't, which is why it hasn't changed.
