Sorry. Like Utah had different laws or something (Aware that's not where he lives). As you said, looks like it's restrictions instead of different products like in Utah you can't sell liquor over 60 percent proof.

That's the medical horror story of the year for me. I think even destitute bums take better care of themselves in terms of hygiene.

You don’t get that in “Blade Vision” where he’s trying to be worthy of the hype and it’s focused on him. When he’s not main character you really get to see how wretched he actually is.

The term proof comes from a 16th century English test for spirits where gunpowder was soaked with the booze and if it still burnt it was considered high strength spirits and taxes at a higher rate. Other methods of testing and quantifying alcohol content have obviously been developed over the centuries but the term stuck.

Currently in the US "Proof" is simply defined as ABV x 2. So Jaeger being 35% alcohol is labelled as "70 Proof".

Cool. Thank you. Not a liquor guy so wasn't aware of the specifics. Proof is not typically a benchmark here in Australia. I just knew it was an immense amount of alcohol. Not Cobes Everclear level but still pretty heinous

People love to harp on jager, but it does grow on you. If you like to get drunk but are not quite degen or slav enough to just drink straight vodka or cheap whiskey, it's a great option. Sweet, goes down easy. It's why blade can put away a fifth of it with no issue, though he does dilute it a bit with the red bull.
