I'm finally getting around to listening to the stream and I realized: this is what it would have been like if Jon had actually come out eventually and said what caused the grumps split, just like people thought they wanted. Is everyone enjoying the openness and honesty?
Honestly in hindsight it seems so clear that the split was the choices of drop the main channels for Game grumps vs Do Game Grumps in between making main channel content. Seems to have worked out for both. Arin got a new lacky that goes with just about anything while also making good money. Jon worked on his channel for a bit and found his new wife though it seems happy.
That's the thing I can't get over.
Like you expect anyone to believe all those videos across the years of you laughing at this sort of humor, not even basic laughing, literally wheezing and sounding like you're about to fall off the chair, were actually you misunderstanding or being shocked the whole time.
They're both lying to themselves and that's what is most pathetic, they had a good thing, were both quite witty with their humor too.
Personally, it reminds me of the girl from the Harry Potter Roleplay video where Chris joked "You look like a fer-ggot", running to him with "You can't say that dude." While she was audibly trying to hold back her own laughter.
