Do you guys like Ding Dong and Julian era? I tend to not really enjoy it, and I like the spastic combinations of weirdos that Chris knew as he matured into the big ugly boy we know him as today.

It has plenty of iconic moments but overall I think the channel only came into its identity after they left, their era feels too much like the vibe of GameGrumps, Pewdiepie and Supermega for my tastes

I flip flop. With DD&J I don't have to deal with Spaz, Dave or Adam being actual fucking retards and turning everything into a goon sesh. They were also good at the games they played.
But on the flipside, with the other boys, there's never someone who's in a shit mood and just looking to bitch and complain and step all over everyone's jokes as soon as they start, or talk about how gay and perverted they are while pretending they don't like talking about it as much as they do and making it clear they really don't like the audience or the format as a whole.
If the faggots get too annoying, just sidle on over the retard sponge factory.

There were special moments, like the Freak bit, or the Kingdom Hearts 2 video that come to mind right away, but DD&J are annoying to me for the most part.
I still enjoy them more than Corey. Dave can not hold my attention for a moment and sometimes Adam is accidentally funny but he's mostly too fucking stoned to be entertaining.

I liked it a lot. I feel like if Julian wasn't crying about games looking bad (specifically games that were clearly made by children) or how he subtly bitch about not liking the viewers, it'd be even better. I don't know if it was here or on /v/, but someone said it best when they said Julian is the same category of "bringing your girlfriend to a boys only night outing" and it honestly sounds about right.
I liked how they actually talked about gameplay, mechanics and other technical stuff when making a game and hearing trivia from DD was cool. Finding out a lot of gem videos because of their references was honestly great too. I cant stress enough how much I quote Blaze the Movie Fan and Mike and Melissa like a sperg when I'm bored.

I liked them enough to watch them for the years they were the only Friends but in hindsight I much prefer the Sleepycabin guests (except Mick Flower) and Tomar/Dave/Lyle/Adam.
