DingDong eavesdrops on a private conversation and gets pissed about what he hears. Even more fucked up that he had his ear pressed to the bathroom door to listen.
This guy has some serious problems. He's very sensitive to any perceived slight, then holds onto to it without actually confronting the person about it. Years later, DD gets into a manic state and decides to "finally" air out the "truth" of the situation. I doubt any of this was a big deal to him at the time. It's only after obsessing for countless hours over fucking years that he turns these things into huge character defining events.
Also, I remember the tuba posting. DD dropped it on 4Chan and was shocked that everyone there was nice about it. Think about it, he went to a website that he thought was the scum of the earth to confess his weird fetish. He was trying to be the victim all they way back then. This is nothing new.
