The Legend Begins:

A trailer for an early version of One Piece Strong World:
Fun facts:
-Oda originally intended to have Shiki mentioned during Shanks and Whitebeard's conversation in chapter 434, as only a name of a random pirate that fucked shit up when Roger was around and nothing more, but didn't want to make readers think he was setting up a villain that would show up later on while he was focusing on the Ace/Blackbeard subplot, so he cut the conversation from the final draft.
-"The Crystal Ship's Log" was a more character-driven story before Oda scrapped it and reworked it into its present form because he wanted to continue to appeal to the tastes of his target audience and not do what he felt everyone thought he should do.

Not to sound like a tard, cause I’ve been trying to binge on the manga and anime, but...
people seem to think that the D bloodline is still unknown, but to me it seems pretty clear it stands for Doflamingo(or however you spell it).
Am I stupid or crazy?

Keep watching. How far did you get in?

yes

Seriously though, what led you to this conclusion?

EDIT: I just reread this-- you'll die of old age/impatience before you finish the anime

I’m actually pretty far in, past Dressrosa. It’s just:
whether D stands for Don or Doflamingo or whatever, I just think that because of Doflamingo and his brother are way too similar to other Ds we’ve seen. Sorry for being stupid.

Today's the birthday of the character my sister loves to hate, Porche!

I honestly hate that entire arc lol. such a pointless waste of time, with one of the worst villains in the series, Foxy is so terrible, hell, even Oda himself admitted it by giving him over to the anime writers to use for filler arcs.

Honestly, the only good things about the Davy Back Fight arc were Aokiji's 1st appearance and Afro Luffy.

Foxy is voiced by Bin Shimada, so I can't hate him entirely, but yeah, the Davy Back Fight arc isn't that great.

I skipped Davy Back fight entirely. There were much bigger fish to fry coming up.
Honestly, the only thing you missed out on is the initial Aokiji appearance, that was one of the main driver for Luffy to begin coming up with the "gears", and it also plays a factor in Robin's decision to leave the Strawhats and surrender to CP-9.

A whole slew of entirely-skippable episodes, save for one or two scenes here and there.

Well, I thought the one with the Millenial Dragon was good. But yeah, I always skip fillers and refresher arcs that interrupt the story.

Even at Impel Down.
