JACKET GOD.
Hoodweebs are vastly more tolerable than faggots like Hasan.I’m seeing people seethe how larpers have ruined the fandom but I’ll be honest prior to logan paul and Hassan but it does it fine on its own with all the hoodweebs and Redditors. I see these dudes walking around in law and straw hats in public, not at cons… doctor offices. For like normal People to see. and the post-timeskips outside MULTIPLE shitty bodegas.
at least they like the thing instead of using it for clout. Would rather deal with these types who let's be honest are usually the types that I probably mention that annoy people with their power scaling theories and such but again at least they like something about the thing. People don't like your Logans and especially Hasans because of the fandoms they bring in for pretending to like the thing.Hoodweebs are vastly more tolerable than faggots like Hasan.
They like it cause it's another substitute of sports to them. Hoodweebs(or just about 60% of the pretend fandom) are still harmful.at least they like the thing instead of using it for clout. I was being way too nice in hindsight. Being black myself and was actually into this stuff before it became more mainstream acceptable you also realize a lot of these types were never into these things. They MIGHT have been into Dragon Ball Z a little but where never really what you would call fans. It became "cool" to be nerdy so the pretenders were more justified in pretending they cared about stuff like anime. They like it cause it's another substitute of sports to them. I hear you bro. The Big Bang Theory was the worst thing to happen in Geekdom. That and the MCU. Those were the one-two punch for us. They took a bunch of tourists and persuaded them that they were "in the know" about things they only have surface-level ideas on.I was being way too nice in hindsight. Hoodweebs are the worst because they ain't slick. We know WHY they are into these things it goes back to that thing i remember seeing on twitter where it's like "niggas only care if it has a ball or a gun in it". It's always surface views with these types because we see them all the time looking deeper than just fights on screen and they are bored and annoyed when characters are doing anything else.I hear you bro. That can be said about every anime tourist. They only watch fights/sex scenes/shipping etc etc. That is what makes them tourists.Hoodweebs are the worst because they ain't slick. Don't forget Game of Thrones. They took a bunch of tourists and persuaded them that they were "in the know" about things they only have surface-level ideas on.
GoT was less so. It WAS mainstream and everyone wanted their own version which lead to a flood of the old geek book adaptations. WoT, TROP, Witcher etc etc. SOME of those hobbies did have a chance to get mainstream. They were fumbled but they did have a chance.Don't forget Game of Thrones.
The bigger damage was self inflicted as nerds suddenly tried to convince themselves their interests were mainstream and popular now.
this! It’s always these dudes tweaking out about how peak a near half decade long fight with a character who has nothing to him outside “he’s reeeeallly strong” “and was on strong pirate crew” and “has a daughter that caused the internet to lose it’s collective mind” all a bunch of flashy colors and scenes of running.surface views with these types because we see them all the time looking deeper than just fights on screen and they are bored and annoyed when characters are doing anything else.
LARPer is such an overused word nowadays but Brendan and his cabal of retards are perfect examples of LARPersCan't even say it was a blessing in disguise because you still have the Brendan Blabbers of the anime "fan"dom who latch on to OP despite not understanding or even liking it.
It doesn't matter what they represent, bot of those arcs were tedious to get through and Moria was some of the worst "retard with a speach impediment" we got in the series. That the idea is good doesn't matter when the execution is so flawed.this! Same with dofflamingo, only difference is ‘mingo is an amazingly written and unique tyrant trope, he grew up as a celestial dragon with a god complex but he was denied being royalty when his family left so he plays it now. But they just like his “aura”
They hate skypeia and Thriller bark even though one piece was originally an exploration and adventure story full of weird characters and quirky logic the characters come across in this world + the villains that those arcs host are unappreciated IMO: the concept of lightning being this super powerful force of nature but it just so happens that it’s weakness of all things… rubber. Moria looking like that is because he got depressed after he lost his crew to kaido hyping him up even more, now using disposable zombies as a substitute because they can’t die. (He’s getting more appreciation now because he got a lore dump that he fought alongside the kozuki clan and was raised in wano)
You have this incredibly complex world full of magic, monsters and science, winter here, summer there, islands in the sky but a portion of the audience hates anything other than the power scaling and how strong characters are. No appreciation for the beautiful world itself
The whole response is full of facts but i've ran into people who call skypeia boring and seem to be a coma until Luffy and Enel final confrontation. What you notice is people tend to not like a lot of the details that lead up until why the final boss fights are so impactful they just take the whole theme of the arc and leave out the fluff. "Ring The Bell" holds no weight unless we know the history of Skypeia and figures like Mont Blanc that add to the lore of the story. Conversations with most of these fans tend to view everything like a highlight reel to the more important matters which is Luffy and the villain of the arc fighting. All of that is in Jaya and people seem to like Jaya. The problem is that the one on one fights with the crew riding those boats aren't clever enough to hold the reader's intrest. I can't even remember who was fought in them other than the giant snake while the Aarlong Park fishman fights and Alabasta Baroque Works fights both stood the test of time, as did the Ennies Lobby Cipher Pol fights. The whole response is full of facts but i've ran into people who call skypeia boring and seem to be a coma until Luffy and Enel final confrontation. I think Skypeia has the weakest Badguy Minion Squad and coming between Baroque works and CP9 makes that gap feel super obvious. The whole response is full of facts but i've ran into people who call skypeia boring and seem to be a coma until Luffy and Enel final confrontation. A portion of the audience hates slow burn narrative no matter the context. You have this incredibly complex world full of magic, monsters and science, winter here, summer there, islands in the sky but a portion of the audience hates anything other than the power scaling and how strong characters are. I wasn't talking about the fighting specifically because my point was people gloss over the narrative a lot especially when it comes to lore heavy series' like one piece and sure there isn't a crazy amount of stuff here that requires you to think extremely deep (it is a shounen lol).I think Skypeia has the weakest Badguy Minion Squad and coming between Baroque works and CP9 makes that gap feel super obvious.
No-one knew any of that stuff was going to be important for a literal decade and the characters and fights were boring outside of Enel himself. Ask people where the lore dump was pre-Wano and they'd say W7/EL or maybe Sabaody.A portion of the audience hates slow burn narrative no matter the context.
