Litterbugs are absolute scum and among the worst people on the planet. Even when an empty garbage can is a short walk away, they will choose to smother the land and flood the seas with an unholy tide of garbage.
While about half of the trash floating around in the Pacific is from lost fishing gear, most of the rest is plastic packaging and consumer products. In other words, things that may only be in the ocean because assholes couldn't be bothered to take out the trash.
Does litter piss you off? Feel free to discuss how litterbugs are ruining the world or shitting up your neighborhood.
I hate littering. My kids have been relentlessly taught to not do it. As a kid you’d a clip round the ear if you did. It infuriates me seeing people drop litter, and spit as well. It’s just total disdain for your environment.
Total litterbug death, total fly tipper death. And while we are at it total fake-environmentalist-net-zero death.
Build nuclear, protect the environment properly.
It's really cute how in the early years kids ingest information about what's right or wrong. They are the first to notice someone dropping something on the ground and tell you about it, but when it comes to themselves, they are much less attentive or principled.
I'll litter to some little extent, sometimes, and if I know it will get picked up. Like I'll drop a cig butt on a terrasse in a bar or restaurant if they don't bother giving me an ashtray. Knowing they'll have to clean it up anyway.
I don't ever drop shit on the ground otherwise, and I am quite bothered when I see people do it. But I am not going to do anything about it either. It only takes one insane bum to stab you in the neck.
I dont understand this mindset of just walking around in trash. Seeing a beach covered in trash and not doing anything. They don't feel dirty?
Not even animals like living in dirty places. A sign of clean water is having river otters inhabit local water sources. Even cats know to dig a hole, poop into it, then cover it.
Not exclusive to India though. In fact I'd prefer this thread to be for litterfags of all colors, even though certain ethnicities are disproportionately responsible.
There's an alley in a nearby small city (omitting details for my own privacy) with two benches that regularly get circled with fast food refuse. Homeless bums lie there frequently. While nowhere near the level of horror as the OP pictures (if only because someone bothers to clean it up), sometimes trash from several fast food joints appears within a single morning. A garbage can is literally 40 paces away towards a supermarket entrance.
And speaking of, why are these bums buying fast food regularly when there's a grocery store within short walking distance? Where does the 2026 fast food money come from?
As much as I hate it as a consumer, incentives provided to clean up actually work.
Like when there is a tax on water bottles or cans if you don't return them. That's the best way to turn bums into cleaners. And it actually works, it keeps them busy and keeps the streets somewhat clean of whatever they can trade for cash.
Around where I live, beaners are the biggest litterbugs. I’ve seen day laborers leaving their fast food trash around the neighborhood during their lunch breaks and beaners are always the ones throwing out trash from their cars while driving. These subhumans somehow just have no concept of taking their trash home and would rather the cities they live in be filled with unsightly trash.
Worst of all though is when they swarm campgrounds in our state parks over the holidays. The amount of litter they produce is immense and the state parks are full of trash because of them. Fuck them, I can't even enjoy nature without food wrappers, diapers, and other nasty trash spoiling the view because of them. ICE isn’t getting rid of enough of them.
