It's been a hoot reading this thread, so I figured I'd contribute my two cents to this thread.
When I used to work a job that was filled with liberals, I remember one time getting into a back-and-forth with one of my co-workers because of the topic of homeless people. Her point was basically "there isn't enough funding for muh mental health and housing" and all the other typical viewpoints that an empath might have. The conversation can be boiled down to me saying, "You know how annoying it is to get laundry detergent, and I get bothered by a group of homeless people (because yes, they herd in groups like cows) for money or drugs?". "You know how annoying it is to deal with police in the neighborhood because some fucking nigger (not this part) decided to overdose on fentanyl-laced heroin?". She responded that I wasn't sympathetic enough. I don't wish violence against anyone, but it's shit like that that makes me wish you experienced homeless people.
I saw someone say ITT "but people are one paycheck away from being homeless". Brother, there have been times when I've gone without eating just so I can save some money. I've struggled so I NEVER HAVE TO BE HOMELESS. I've started my own business, I make money, and I plan on starting a family within 5 years.
I've ridden public transportation and I know exactly what you guys are talking about. Public buses are like portable homeless shelters with the everlasting smell of shit and piss. I've seen niggers roll up blunts, do drugs, and piss on buses but I should feel more empathetic for the low socioeconomic people.
