The US political system will have to make changes though to fit in more nuanced viewpoints. By controlling every peaceful avenue of discussion by forcibly removing dissenters, they're making violent retaliation an inevitability. The Machine will break but the country does not need it.

There'll probably be some violence yes. But that doesn't matter either. Is it from progressives? Downplay it. Is it from non left wing sources? Up play it and plaster it all over and use it as an excuse to legitimize grabbing more power and control.
