we're not in a situation where a commie president just says "dude fuck da constitution lmao" and orders the army to go round up americans and rake all their guns. if something like that were to happen, i could see the armed forces splinter and desert, yes.

Sorry for late reply, been tard wrangling people freaking out over the election. But to answer your question, No I’m well aware, and it still doesn’t change anything. Let me give you some numbers that you can google to explain. The US military has 1.3 million active personnel and around 850k reserve, now compare that to Georgia alone. It has roughly 4 million fighting age adults, and 59k square miles a lot of that is wilderness and swamp. These are maximum possible figures for both granted, but it give perspective. Now before you, go “muh tanks and drones” we are talking about occupation not razing. That’s a boots on the ground game. So they are trying to occupy a massive, high wilderness area with an armed, well supplied, numerically superior and hostile population, who have been defying the government’s boogey men (IRS) for over 100 years.

There is already soft desertion. My state eliminated Qualified Immunity for cops. They give zero fucks now and just hide out waiting for their pension to kick in.
