If your brain can imagine it, then a good computer can imitate it, and then improve it. Just like you can imagine a movie scene in your head, computers will soon be able to do the same. Eventually AI will progress to the point where you could just give it a script and a few guild lines, and a computer will spit out a finished movie. It would be cool to feed a computer the manga, and then the Alita movie as a guild, and then get a sequel.

Ido's backstory was more developed in the movie. Hugo was more annoying.

I haven't followed Last Order in awhile. ZOTT lost the plot with two books worth of vampire backstory, and even when it came back to an unsatisfying kill on Mbadi, it veered off again to Ido's nurse or helper back on Earth and just what the fuck. It started out so good, and the space karate guys were pretty good.

They lost me halfway through, that goddamn tournament went on forever. The original series is still one of my favorites manga (I don't even mind the ending), but Last Order can go fuck itself. Haven't read Mars Chronicle yet.
