Sorry, but I like older mainstream music unironically and I am not ashamed to admit it. I also like older genres that are more obscure or non-mainstream as well though.

Fuck the pretentious indie hipsters and the modern mainstream crowd too

To be brutally honest, the only new genres I actually enjoy are Future Funk and Synthwave and maybe dark ambient/dungeon synth to a lesser extent.

I'm mostly a rocker though
 
Even though this was part of a sound track, I thought I'd toss out an oldie (but goody). Like most classical trance, it doesn't take off until about 1:30ish.

 
Been listening to Cages “Inside a Ringing Chord” lately. Sounds like Bjork singing for Fog (a small artist that got featured on that one crybaby music review channel Bradtaste)
