Pre decimal British coinage was so convoluted. "Oi, lad, that'll be a Guinea, 2 Florins and a bloody shilling"Imagine a world where it was necessary to have a coin worth one eighth of a penny.

Also I think that dash is a die defect, which in old pennies usually means an increase in value, so here's hoping I'm quids in.
