That first picture is exactly my feelings about all of this also. My limited interactions with NAFO people reeked with condescension the moment they knew I was a Balt. They strongly implied that my (relative to theirs) conservative views are some disease to be cured and seemed willingly ignorant of my unapologetically TTD profile. They treated me almost exactly like they would a Muslim immigrant as if we're some random hood that popped up one night in 1990 in the middle of Europe for no reason at all and any non-aesthetic cultural differences are a trivial obstacle on their way to a greener tomorrow.

Now, I don't think their shit will take root here and I have more valid reasons to think that than pure copium but I won't get too much into that. The real point I'm trying to get at is the sheer disappointment that the "Western" countries we used to look up to turned out to be. And you won't hear this from either side of the political fence in America because it's neither convenient nor useful but there is a growing sentiment of rejecting those ideals and finding some way forward of our own. Maybe not Poland levels of return to trad, but wokery turns out to be pretty easy to rebuke when there are plenty of examples of how wrong it went already in those same "Advanced (TM)" countries.
