Nintendo switch dock fix

I’m currently having issues with my Nintendo switch dock It’s constantly flashing Green even when the Console is not in the dock when I put my switch in it doesn’t register the console has anyone else experienced this issue I’ve been considering contacting Nintendo for support but I’ve heard stories of how their customer service is poor the switch was a Christmas gift so I can’t take it back

Make sure your dock is clean. Make sure the platform surrounding the interior USB is not stuck or jammed.

If those issues are resolved and the problem persists, it is likely faulty. New docks are easy enough to get. And you can try Nintendo's support line if you would like, they are very accommodating as long as you aren't a total sperg and understand how limited and extended warranties work.

Nintendo has refurb Animal Crossing docks for 40 and new ones for 60. You can find third party docks as well. But your mileage may vary.

I'd say to him stick with first party made docks there's been many stories about Switches bricking after updates because third party docks don't quite provide the same voltage as the Nintendo made ones and it fries em'.
