I think I've read somewhere that Wii U and 3DS VC games will transfer with a small fee. But if you bought both the 3DS and Wii U version of a VC game you get the switch version for free.

Might be a problem with the hardware - the switch doesn't have analogue triggers, which are crucial to many Gamecube games.if it had gamecube vc at launch i'd buy it.

Granted, this is IGN and I take what they say with a grain of salt, but they bring up solid arguments against the Switch, the same ones I took into consideration when I cancelled my pre-order last week.
The Wii U score from launch was still higher than the switch score at launch.I mean, you have to take into consideration that the Wii U score is from two years after its launch (once more games were available for it).
