What is it like to meet a person that has never played Animal Crossing in their entire life?

I played the first AC on the Game Cube a few years ago, it was like half an hour before i got bored. No idea why this particular IP of all things got so big in recent years.

Having friends play Nintendo is considered a bad thing.

Judging by a friend's wife, because "Squeee cute animals!".

The person I know who has 600 hours is a dude, and a fairly masculine dude outside the Animal Crossing stuff.

I asked him and all he could do was shrug. A part of me wonders if his game time was inflated or something, but he was just like "I like it is all"

I can tell why people took joy in making fun of this cunt.

I have searched my feelings and I know it to be true: SoA wouldn't be as revered as it is among JRPG fans if it had gotten a wider release.

I have the original Dreamcast version. It is definitely dated, but it's one of the best RPGs for the system, not that there was much competition for that considering how short the Dreamcast's life was overall.

There's my point, right there. If SoA had been released on say, the PS1 or PS2, it would be a lot less vaunted.
