nick's actions are all his fault, and so are candy's. she is choosing to eat everything under the sun because she wants to, no matter how shitty her past is. the point I was making, and not attacking you but simply quoting your post as it had a very large part about candy, was that this woman, mentally ill or not, is capable of making choices of her own, and the thread's titular cow has no bearings on what she does or does not do, which a lot of folks in the thread keep missing.

Nick may not have had a rough upbringing, but I'm pretty sure he had reactive attachment disorder from being a Ukrainian orphanage baby. Whenever he gets real about when he was a kid, all signs kind of point to that, and he still obviously struggles with relationships and mood/impulse control to this day. He might be a heartless killer like the worst case scenario for RAD but the signs are there.
