What I want to know is how the Arabs managed to buck the trend of tropical oil states being exploited by western companies. Venezuala dealt with it. Indonesia dealt with it. Nigeria's currently dealing with it.

It had to be one of those two when it comes to fucking over Nigerians, lmao.

They sit atop a literal lake of oil and are on track to be the biggest African country by the end of the decade. You'll hear endless news about Nigeria going forward. They're teetering on the cusp of being able to throw their weight around internationally.

I mean they seem like the place where the globohomo empire will force some sort of peace deal. The religious tension is worrying but if they can either surpress the Muslim minority and or push it further north while pushing a more Christan identity you will see Nigeria probably become wealthier.
