necroing the thread but
I wanted to play the dlcs with japanese voices for Drakengard 3 but square enix in their infinite wisdom made the japanese voices a dlc which only cover the base game and not the dlcs (btw if you want to hear the JP intro, install the japanese voice dlc and just change the original D3_OPN_TEST.bik for the japanese one)
So I installed the EU DLC then I installed the undub DLC and moved the cutscenes to the folder, because it's only the cutscenes the gameplay dialogue are still in english, then I moved all of the VO_DLC0 files from the undub to the EU ones and it worked so now I have japanese dialogue and japanese cutscenes. I've only tested the first stage of Zero's DLC and so far the only bugs is that sometimes the subtitles move to the next line too quickly and trigger the following dialogue.

I completed the zero dlc without it crashing and the only thing I noticed is the line overlap that I mentioned before and the grunts when you attack and get damaged are from the english version. not gonna try all the dlcs because I'll assume they also work and I've had enough of drakengard 3 gameplay for a while.

As much as i love Draken 3. The fact that it introduced Accord and thus timetravel shenanigans and making basically every ending in every game canon to a degree is probably my most disliked aspect of the lore in DrakenNier.
