Re: Motor vehicle collision with payloader
On Monday, June 1, 2026 at approximately 5:30pm, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported motor vehicle collision with a payloader along the 8400 block of Kandiyohi County Rd. 9 NE in Green Lake Township. A passenger van driven by a 44 year old Spicer man with his family was travelling southbound on Co. Rd. 9 when it attempted to avoid a large payloader that was crossing the roadway in front of them. The van struck the payloader in the bucket area. There were 5 occupants in the passenger van and all were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Spicer Fire Department, Spicer First Responders, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, and CentraCare Ambulance.

All the laws and all the enforcement around towing cars and pulling drivers licenses started going out the window after George Floyd. The democrats who run the state have this theory that driving is a right and that taking away the right of a good person to drive will either make that person homeless or lead them into criminal activity which will result in them being sent to state prison. Mostly because....you know.....certain groups are more likely to get parking tickets and not pay them.

They passed a state law that you can't tow cars for unpaid parking tickets. People told them what would happen if they did that and they did it anyway. By policy, people getting their drivers license pulled these days is far less likely than it was in the past.

And so you have people like Nick who drove around for a long time without any car insurance at all and got police ticketed for it twice.....and never lost his license or seemed to even stop driving. Nick drove around for months with expired plates and no insurance with hardly any consequences. And he only even got stopped twice after which for a long time he just ignored the tickets he got from doing that.

And if you try to point out any of this to the soft-brained morons who live there, what you usually get back is some lecture about how gay and black people are murdered openly in the street in bad places like Florida and Texas. That Minnesota cares and that its just better than everywhere else.
