I just updated the subtitle. Now I need to try and squeeze "reckless driver" in.

When referring to a collision its common parlance to call the vehicle that took the least damage to be the winner.

The press release said he hit the payloader in the bucket. Payloader buckets often have these little extensions on the bottom.

Those extensions are sometimes called toes.

So you could say this crash was another win for the toe.
And they're made of steel.
This looks like another win for the Steel Toe.

I'd be pretty sure he has liability only (or maybe none at all because he is a complete scofflaw). I'm not sure what kind of damage if any he caused to the other vehicle. If it exceeds policy limits they may be able to sue him for the excess. He may try to file a vexatious suit of his own even though it was his fault.

Him being sued would provide more content to talk about the 'ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT LYING' that people do about him.

Supposedly and this is from a clerk contact, it is possible criminal, not civil. Must have fucking totaled that van.

Given the OLPR and FBI action you have alluded to but has yet to materialise, I will reserve judgement.

Nick's still on probation

If Kandy Yoshi county actually enforced laws Nick would be in trouble.

I cannot imagine a traffic accident would be reportable--unless he were cited for something more criminal or negligent. Is this how the laws work in the United States?

I for one am really excited to see how they react once the stuff about him beating his kids starts getting around more

He will scream and seethe-stream about it without anyone to shower call. Probably call a bunch of women FAT! too...

What happened to his 100k Lincoln Navigator? Did he wreak that one too?

The rumours are that Quayla is a nervous driver and she does not use it often. This is why Nick has to drive so much, allegedly.

Except the report is that he hit the bucket specifically. So the loader would have had to been in the middle of the road if it were backing out for the bucket to be what Nick hit. Which if that's the case there no way Nick didn't see it ahead of time and isn't at fault.

Id like to hope there would be photos of the damage to the bucket eventually found. Which would tell us what happened. If the driver/left side of the bucket was hit, then it was pulling out and Nick tried to beat it. If the damage is on the right, the thing was in the middle of the road and Nick tried to beat it.
I don't think that there's going to be much, if any damage to the front end loader. 20 tons minimum, all steel, vs a primarily aluminum car. The math doesn't math. His car is totaled though, lol.

I hope Mr. Weets is OK. Poor guy was just minding his own business, working to put food on his table, only to have his day ruined by some asshat smashing a shitty old van into his front end loader.

Sure, maybe he doesn't have any physical injuries, but that sort of thing could cause ongoing mental health issues, like PTSD.

I also hope Mr. Weets' boss is understanding, as some bosses can be absolute pricks when company property gets damaged whilst in the custody of an employee, even if said damage occurs through no fault of their own.

Press Release:
Re: Motor vehicle collision with payloader
On Monday, June 1, 2026 at approximately 5:30pm, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported motor vehicle collision with a payloader along the 8400 block of Kandiyohi County Rd. 9 NE in Green Lake Township. A passenger van driven by a 44 year old Spicer man with his family was travelling southbound on Co. Rd. 9 when it attempted to avoid a large payloader that was crossing the roadway in front of them. The van struck the payloader in the bucket area. There were 5 occupants in the passenger van and all were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Spicer Fire Department, Spicer First Responders, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, and CentraCare Ambulance.

You are supposed to file an accident report with the DMV if the damage is over a certain amount, that amount varies by state. Sometimes state or local police will investigate, especially if more than one vehicle is involved. Single car accidents are usually investigated if a towing company is hire to remove the vehicle. I've known people who totalled there whip, but got a friend to help them pull it out before (they thought) anyone knew what happened, only to have a sheriff show up and ask a few questions.

Finally some content from this boring child doper.
He must have gotten sick of people making fun of his Nissan.

Balldomobile still suffering in damage.
Balldobile was right there man.
That road is so insanely straight and open, it's crazy that this happened. But if the vehicle pulled out on him, it's probably that van's fault. However, he was no doubt speeding.
You're telling me nick rekieta, the coke head who openly admitted to speeding all the time, I believe in excess of 20 mph at times, was going fast. Even then, you'd have to he retarded to not see the thing from miles away.

Unless it was being operated by a somalian. Then it is only partially nicks fault.
Nick strikes me as the kind of person who speeds because every second driving and running errands is a second he can't seethe on Twitter and act like a boob on stream. Who cares about my kid's safety when there's hilarious rape jokes to be made?
You act like he doesn't seethe on twitter while driving.

I know Rekieta is in the middle of crashing out but him actually crashing was something I wasn't expecting. Its amazing how much of a wreck he is after taking the cursed Sonichu medallion.

I cannot imagine a traffic accident would be reportable--unless he were cited for something more criminal or negligent. Is this how the laws work in the United States?

Its not the traffic accident itself that is reportable. Its charges stemming from a traffic accident that would be reported. And it has to be a serious change. Most of the more serious charges related to an accident in Minnesota would have to involve:

- Someone other than the person on probation getting seriously injured in the accident
- Substance abuse charges (driving while on drugs or alcohol and having an accident)

If Nick was drinking while he had his accident....or he was charged with reckless driving AND the loader operator was injured in the accident, then there might be a chance of meaningful charges. But otherwise its very unlikely.
