Nick strikes me as the kind of person who speeds because every second driving and running errands is a second he can't seethe on Twitter and act like a boob on stream. Who cares about my kid's safety when there's hilarious rape jokes to be made?

ETA: The above times are in Eastern so not representative of the time of the crash. I changed my VPN to a central time zone and it showed the above times but the UTC shows it being an hour earlier than that.

However, he was tweeting at 5:22 PM Central as well.

In theory, the CucX Archiver should be correcting timestamps for CDT time; sorry for the 24-hour format, I use it more than the pm/am version.

But he was tweeting somewhat frequently until 5:22 pm, and then returned to tweet at 9:25 pm saying that he wouldn't be streaming because of a "complication".

If he was in the driver seat, this tweet history does not bode well. It means he was tweeting while driving.

But that said I could see a scenario if the thing backed into the road not realizing a car was coming.
A passenger van driven by a 44 year old Spicer man with his family was travelling southbound on Co. Rd. 9 when it attempted to avoid a large payloader that was crossing the roadway in front of them. The van struck the payloader in the bucket area.

He was speeding and ran into the bucket. He's lucky they weren't all decapitated.

Press Release:
Re: Motor vehicle collision with payloader
On Monday, June 1, 2026 at approximately 5:30pm, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported motor vehicle collision with a payloader along the 8400 block of Kandiyohi County Rd. 9 NE in Green Lake Township. A passenger van driven by a 44 year old Spicer man with his family was travelling southbound on Co. Rd. 9 when it attempted to avoid a large payloader that was crossing the roadway in front of them. The van struck the payloader in the bucket area. There were 5 occupants in the passenger van and all were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Spicer Fire Department, Spicer First Responders, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, and CentraCare Ambulance.

Guess he really didn't want to go to the violin recital.

Those kids are lucky that they walked away from this. Hitting farm/construction machinery, at speed, commonly results in fatalities or a ride in LifeFlight.

Except the report is that he hit the bucket specifically. So the loader would have had to been in the middle of the road if it were backing out for the bucket to be what Nick hit. Which if that's the case there no way Nick didn't see it ahead of time and isn't at fault.
Or it was going forward :-) (sorry skimmed the report)
Id like to hope there would be photos of the damage to the bucket eventually found. Which would tell us what happened. If the driver/left side of the bucket was hit, then it was pulling out and Nick tried to beat it. If the damage is on the right, the thing was in the middle of the road and Nick tried to beat it.
I'd think it would be more likely speeding and not paying attention ($$$$ is on his phone in some way) than trying to beat it, but he's an idiot, so highly possible. But yes, seeing that wide open road, unless the thing pulled out literally feet in front of him, there is no possibility of not seeing a moving payloader. And reasonable people slow down in that case.

Also bc I'm petty, I hated his stupid note about "I'm resting with Lady R." Center yourself more, Nick. Most people would say "we" are resting. And MOST people would mention your fucking kids, who I guess are not resting.

When I was a kid, our school had a (false) fire alarm go off and when the fire truck was coming, some brain trust tried to beat it through the intersection.

If you had told me everyone in that car was dead, I'd have believe you, because it fucking crumpled. Luckily there was already a firetruck there, or I think those folks would have actually died.

“it was completely their fault, they didn't see us and they caused the accident“

Edit: just seen the report.

Wide open intersection. Wanna bet the faggot was speeding
Remember that stream he did from the mustang one time? “Hold on, I’ve got to accelerate…. BRRRRMMMM!”

It’s a common affliction with owners of high powered cars (I know, I have one) - the temptation to use acceleration to get past a situation rather than brake in front of it. Most of the time braking is the less risky option.
I am 100% prepared to believe that Nick was late for whatever appointment, rushing, inattentive to the road ahead and then made the inpatient, impulsive decision - try to blast past rather than slam on the brakes.

Newer cars and vans like that have a black box of driving telemetry. Not to mention cellphone data of gps movements and screen activities.
No one's going to care. There weren't injuries. Nick's van is totaled so it's just a matter of assessing it's value and cutting a check. They have the hospital costs but they will be small and likely already covered by medical insurance.

It wouldn't surprise me if Nick got a "distracted driving" and "speeding" ticket. It would be just like Nick to argue that neither of those "caused" the accident.

I am going to guess what happened was that there was a loader waiting to cross the road and the faggot clipped the bucket with the front passenger side. The loader might have been sticking out into the road, but I am going to guess he was on his phone and drifted over the white line and hit the loader.

He must never watch the road in front of him, that's how glued he is to twitter and reddit. A road like that at 5:30 pm on a clear day? You can see a piece of large equipment from quite a distance. It's not like something that massive can leap out like a deer either.

It's a far enough distance where Kayla could have spotted it too but she must zooted to hell and back. As for the kids, I'm sure they're used to Nick driving like a complete retard by now.

Obviously since it's Nick Rekieta, Prince of Kandiyohi County, he'll probably see no criminal problems at all. What I do think is that he's going to get fucked on insurance. Whatever company owns that payloader isn't just going to take it on the nose because Nick says he's right and an insurance agent is going to make sure they don't have to pay for some cokehead's minivan at the cost of pissing off a larger client. Nick is going to have to throw money at yet another problem of his own design. Easy enough to lie about it I'm sure.

Reminder that 4 other people were in the car with Nick.

His family's lives are literally less important to him than texting while driving.

Hey Balldo, not to rain on your parade, but t-boning a construction loader when you’re on the major road and they’re on the minor road doesn’t look good. Insurance providers will say you’re at fault.
You're generally expected to be prepared to stop for slow moving or even entirely stationary vehicles. This asshole came flying out of nowhere, probably drunk. He's responsible and if there's any damage to the other vehicle, he's liable.

Unsatisfied with coking up his daughter, he's now injured three of them by driving like an irresponsible moron.

"Crashin muh keeedz around."
That road is so insanely straight and open, it's crazy that this happened. But if the vehicle pulled out on him, it's probably that van's fault. However, he was no doubt speeding.
It's a rural road. Slow moving heavy vehicles are to expected. Also the van was Nick's. He crashed into a payloader's bucket. Those things barely move at all so there's probably nothing the guy could have done when Nick came along like a bat out of hell and crashed into it.
