So not much has changed, there are new prefixes so people can more easily find articles they're interested in. There's been a lot more articles recently as well that belong in the stickied megathread instead of their own, since they really don't lead to conversation other than a laugh and some shit posting. They're glorified Florida Man articles essentially. Please see the flow chart below to get a feel of the new prefix system and have fun.

Not every article will fit 100% into a prefix, just use your best judgement. I trust you, fam. If you don't think it fits at all don't bother with a prefix, we'll figure it out if it needs one.

That goes without saying tbh

Can we get a shit posting tag for articles that are primo shit posting as opposed to run of the mill handful of comments for the mega thread?

If it's super primo shit posting, then it'd be at least worthy of some sort of discussion right? Prefix it how you think it fits best and if it isn't primo worthy I'll merge it.

I propose another tag: Academia.

Hey I had this suggestion awhile ago. I think they should be tagged with stuff like Islam, sjws, meme news, actual news, I did a post in supporters awhile back analyzing this subforum and all threads here fell into basically 5-6 categories that best described the content, including those. But if you're trying to make it look respectable this works too.

Null didn't think we really needed prefixes at all, so I thought this was a good middle ground. As the board goes on though more might be added so I'll keep these in mind, thanks! I'd like to keep it flexible.

We should have one for Fake News that only staff can apply that happens after some story gets debunked. Make the prefix "CNN".
