It's way too big on mobile. It takes up a lot of the avatar's space. I would suggest maybe disabling it by default on mobile?
Even if I disable show online status in the menu, it still shows whether I'm online or offline.
The pulsing is annoying.

It's ordinary size on mobile for me, maybe a tiny bit bigger than the green dot?

Yeah, no issues on mobile for me.
