As a Patriotic Greek, I have to go with the bust of my darling Aristotele, but if I had to go with a second choice I would have chosen a bust or painting of Spinoza.

Either that, or we could have had Plato up there, since he was the Anita Sarkessian of Ancient Greece.

This is Niccolo Machiavelli, author of "The Prince". The Prince is a renaissance political manual, where Machiavelli outlined many of the ways that a ruler can manipulate, charm and terrorise both their subjects and enemies into surrender and compliance. There's a huge debate over whether The Prince is political satire, or if Machiavelli was in deadly seriousness.

I think Machiavelli would make a decent ethics rating, because it's always ambiguous as to whether he wants you to be good or evil.
