Shadiversity weighs in on the inaccuracies of this film:
Basically, if you are hoping the movie would be an accurate docu-drama, then you'll be disappointed. If you were hoping for a Hollywood film with some reasonably entertaining elements in it (and don't care that the only things they really got accurate were the mud and the dysentery,) then you should enjoy it. (I will say that most of the armor in this movie did look kind of crap. Plate armor is suppose to fit you like a second skin, not look like it was made out of tin cans...
