It's a well known Resetera janny tactic that if you catch a ban for 1~3 weeks because they couldn't perm you, magically in a week your ban will be updated to permanent for "alt account".
Sometimes it could be true, but most of the time this is just the Besada school of moderation where you cull your enemies at all costs. No transparency though, they never tell the inmates the name of the alt account.
LMAO, what a sad way to go. Outed as a troll. Maybe he was the alt-account I mentioned above ? The one who called out Cerium ? Could make sens.
I could see Hobbes joining Neogaf and spilling the beans of stuff he knows. For all his faults, he clearly knows some interesting shit.

Many staff members are MAD at the way all of this was handled. Many stand behind Sophia and want to punish TransEra for all their harassment and lies. They point B-dubs as being the culprit for all this mess. In short, you have two sides : the staff who stands behind B-dubs (few) and the staff who are fed up with TransEra (many).
It's also backed up by AliceEmber recent post and Poodlestrike (or Poundlestrike now) recent outburst.
It's behind close-doors and those people are cowards, so maybe it won't have any further development, but the last time something like that happened, Nepenthe became an admin.
The ride really never ends, it's amazing. They accuse the "alt-right" boogeyman of ruining their community but they're so good at eating themselves without any external help.
