I mean... if you take the ResetEra position about Corona, then anyone breaking quarantine in the last couple of months has done the equivalent of murdering a dozen vulnerable people - the immunocompromised, the elderly, the black - plus torturing at least a full wing of a hospital.
But now, racism is such a big problem that those are considered acceptable sacrifices, because masks or not, the riots aren't even remotely close to social distancing and no one has been even stupid enough to try that argument, only that racism is more important than worrying about the virus. So clearly, those same vulnerable people should be happy to have their lives sacrificed on the behalf of a greater good, even if that 'good' isn't actually a good, and one of the primary groups they were REEEEEEEEing about being victims of the virus were the same blacks who are the ones breaking quarantine the most. Not that they were paying much mind to it in the first place.
So, yes, the forum, especially people like RedMercury (of which there are many, even if they themselves are a troll), believe they have a moral right to choose when people should live or die, as long as it's for the right reasons and because they never think it will be them. And this is why out of all of the billions of people involved with this whole shitshow, it's the keyboard warriors who I despise the most.
