It's probably best to consider asexuality less as a sexual orientation and more of a circumstance in life. A lack of sexual interest/desire isn't really that rare; it's just that it's usually related to psychological issues, a side effect of medical conditions, or a side effect of medications one is taking. It's rarely permanent, and certainly isn't something to build an identity around.

As others have said, building an identity around it is pretty exceptional, since it's something nobody but your doctors and romantic partners need to know about, and is invisible to the point where nobody is really going to discriminate or oppress you for it.

You forgot she had no reaction to finding out she was nobody and that her parents left her for no reason other than being dead beats (which the next movie is retconning), could have been interesting however she has no human emotions, no rage, no sadness, no disbelief and no character growth from it, not even some week line like "it's not where I come from but who I am now that matters."

She seemed to be raging pretty hard in her fight against Luke, it seemed to be the only reason she had the upper hand. She took the easy strength afforded by anger and had zero negative consequences whatsoever as if entire movies had not been dedicated to spelling out that this was explicitly the path to the dark side.

Also, I'd imagine many of them are on anti-depressants or other meds that do lower the libido, but again, it's not the same as being asexual, it's just another way to get oppression points.

The one person I knew that claimed to be asexual I suspect was either not physically attracted to her girlfriend, or had a completely fucked sex drive due to the terminal cancer that killed her (it wasn't diagnosed until about six months before she died). Words of wisdom and many people on Resetera are publicly praising him for his words. Still, I can smell the "misrepresentating moderation" ban incoming for this NoMoreTrolls. Words of wisdom and many people on Resetera are publicly praising him for his words. Still, I can smell the "misrepresentating moderation" ban incoming for this NoMoreTrolls. As far as I know, he's one of the few that has voiced his controversial opinion toward the moderation being heavily Nintendo-biased and I don't think he'll get away with it for much longer. Keep the good fight, as long as you can.

TL;DR : Why can we say fuck Ubisoft, fuck EA, fuck Konami, fuck THQ on Resetera without any problems, but suddenly, showing some light sarcasm toward a Nintendo tied company is tone-policed immediately ? Does that confirm our favourite chinese dictator hold some Nintendo stock ? We see you Era.

People here on Kiwi focus on the off-topic/political side of Resetera, but the Pokemon review thread will be glorious. It will be Nintendo shills vs normies, a real bloodbath. If you think those people care about politic, wait until the most controversial Pokemon game release this week and review drop. It would be funny if something like that could cause the whole forum to collapse on itself.

People thought Death Stranding was going to be the game that would be a fallout 76 type nuclear bomb and shift a paradigm.

It's looking like it's going to be probably Pokemon.

Another series to throw into the dead/lifeless fucking series pile along with everything Blizzard and Bioware ever made.

2018 and 2019 were not kind to many long established series.

From what I know and have seen...

A shitton of Pokémon are completely cut from the game. Not that they aren't available and you can't obtain them except by trading like on other games, they aren't coded in the game at all. GameFreak has announced they plan on doing this to every game going forward.

The excuse used for that was to make better animations, but the animations for the older pokémons that are appearing again are reused, the animations for the new ones aren't exactly impressive and the animations for some trainers are reused from Sun and Moon as well (very noticeable with Hop and Hau).

Mega Pokémon are gone. The new gimmick is "Dynamaxing" and "Gigantamaxing", i.e. making your pokémon big / big with a special form depending if it was chosen to have one.

Some moves, including Hidden Power, a move used by a lot of pokémon competitively, are also gone. They are coded in the game but the game does not allow you to use them.

It doesn't look good for a Switch game. A tree from the game's "Wild Area" was infamously compared with N64 graphics and somehow looks worse than the trees from Wii Sports.

EXP Share is turned on by default and cannot be turned off. This makes your pokémon overleveled for a lot of things and the game apparently is quite easy even if you could turn it off.

There's a limit on the max level of the pokémon you can catch depending on how many badges you have.

People are really fucking pissed at Charizard and Gen 1 pandering in general.

Long story short:

Less content than the handheld games despite being on a more powerful console.
Being more expensive than past games despite that.
Unimpressive overall graphics, textures and animations.
Cut content people wanted (many Pokémon, Mega Forms, Moves...).
Focus on content nobody asked for (Currydex, Pokémon Camp) making people feel such effort could have gone to other things they consider more important.
The games were promised as "games for older pokémon fans" after Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee and that promise did not age well.
