Well other than the obvious that Justin Roiland himself is unstable and as such there's no real good read on him, the particular reason he probably had JonTron on his commercial is that he's friends with PsychicPebbles who is friends with JonTron. That coupled with the fact JonTron consistently gets millions of views to the point he can buy $2000 gnomes on mere whim... yeah.

This bitch, though, is fucking hilarious to me. Kotaku is actively ridiculed by Oney and Zach (PsychicPebbles) so I'd be very surprised if Justin gives a damn about what Kotaku thinks. Again, though, he's pretty unstable so he might. Should be fun to watch either way. I await the episode of Rick and Morty where Rick blows up a video game website's office because they wouldn't suck his dick for coverage.

Well, Ladiva (or Fastiva in Japanese) is kinda a vague case. If you look up some Ladiva artwork or video, some of Ladiva's poses and manner are quite girly. In Japanese audio, Ladiva uses 'atashi' which is a feminine first pronoun for 'I' in English. In game mechanic, Ladiva's gender is considered neither male or female.
Then again, in Japanese media, they sometimes portray muscular and macho-look men are effeminate gay men. For example Puri Puri Prisoner in One Punch Man, Chosen and Himiko in Koihime (you probably don't wanna google the last two, but they are gender bend version of fictional Chinese female characters).

Trover Saves the Universe has been on my radar since listening to that 8-hour podcast Roiland did on H3 with Ethan Klein last Christmas '18. It sounded pretty well thought-out in design just from his drunken, tired ramblings with some secret zoo level. I'm glad these pearl-clutchers are avoiding it over mere advertising, so they don't impact any last-minute changes to the game itself(as opposed to YL). It's really funny to see them stumble over themselves to find some hidden nazi ideology in Harmon or Roiland's past too, they couldn't be more lefty if they tried. Harmon's thread here has links to his rants about punching nazis for 5 minutes straight screaming to a podcast audience & Roiland's made enough references to dunking on Hitler in Rick & Morty that it should be beyond reproach; just more proof these animals spend more time posting on forums than consuming the actual media they claim to love.

Jon had the gall to say that maybe you shouldn't call white people racist if they don't like the idea of becoming a minority due to mass immigration into their country. Even poorly explained (which Jon admitted it was numerous times afterwards) anyone with a brain between their ears knew the broader point he was getting at but these are REEtards we're talking about and all they heard is that Jon wanted to pick up where Hitler left off.

Really though I think their obsession with him comes simply down to being sore losers. They spent months screeching about Jon trying to get him erased from the internet but what happened instead is that he released the original flex tape video and it went viral. Not only do they have to deal with the fact no one really gives a shit about their screaming but also that Jon probably made some decent cash from that one video alone at a time they were trying to make the man homeless.

Sick! Thanks. To clarify: Granblue is a browser-based game. There’s an app version available on Japanese app stores that isn’t available in other countries, but said app is no more than a wrapper for the web page. Regardless, the game is fully translated.
