Just realized I'm too old to have kids
I don't even know how to start with this guy. The level of self-pity is cringy as fuck. The best part is when he starts to blame everyone else for his misery.
People start asking him to get help cuz looks suicidal.
This is not the first time I see this kind of post in REEE. I mean, it is not that uncommon. If your forum gets over and over post that looks like suicide notes, there is something wrong with your community. No wonder people in REE are so out of touch with reality.

Old Gaf and Era have suicide threads about once a month, you can damn near set your calendar to it. None of the message boards I've ever been a regular on have ever had anywhere near that many and I've been on the internet since the mid 90s. maybe I've been lucky and missed all the weirdo places but Era just seems to have a super high concentration of self-harm and suicidal freaks. Explains a lot about the place lol

Also what's he got to be depressed about? The being looked down upon for blue collar work is a hipster thing, they're the ones who despise blue collar work and workers and think they're just slightly above slaves. If people look down upon you that's their fucking problem not yours. if you're there to do a job, just do your fucking job and the customers won't complain or think less of you. It's not like he's divorced and has multiple kids where he has to make alimony payments for. A Divorce is the worst thing that can happen to you financially.
Also comparing yourself to the previous generations is fucked. There's no 1 for 1 comparison, they're not the same. As they say things were different back then.
And for one thing decades ago the rent in major metropolitan cities wasn't fucking insane and department stores still paid their employees through meeting quotas and commissions, once they removed that people earned far less and those became minimum wage positions. So through low skill work yes you used to be able to afford a higher standard of living, but people wanted cheap labor which drove everything down.

Had that post been written anywhere else, ResetEra would either hate it or laugh at it for being a loser incel who can't get laid and feels entitled to womens bodies.
That got me thinking about why ResetEra has a blanket ban on some things, but others they allow to be mentioned despite being more "problematic". I'm guessing if they banned everything problematic they wouldn't have anything to talk about.
