How is either person in the situation an "expert" ? Price was a scenario writer, Deroir is just a random dude. What gives Price more authority?

Rami specifically made this tweet to try to deflect away from the fact that Price isn't a gamedev and has no hard skills. Again, being a "writer" on a game is bad enough, but a writer on an MMO, lol.

I'd say that a non-coding game designer (like a crucial one, especially if they have novel ideas) is a game developer even without hard skills.
But if all you're doing is dialog for a an MMO, yeah, nah, you're not a game developer. If your soft talents can be translated pretty easily to a non-interactive medium, you're not a game developer.

They knew NeoGAF was where all that shit was, but they were sure they were protected from it, even as they got banned.
It was all some grave misunderstanding THEY got banned, but they were everyone else the same lunatics banned deserved to be banned, and switching forums did not dispel this illusion.

subpar spatula is really pushing the narrative hard, and even on ResetEra people are coming forward with dissenting opinions.
I can imagine the report buttons being spammed right now. Zefah is totally right, everyone is staring at that exchange knowing that those who push the mod-approved narrative can say whatever they want while all contrary criticism must be crutched on the finest of egg shells. I wonder how many people who replied to subpar will be banned for their brazen displays of common sense opinion.
