it helps that by behaving badly here, you literally become the thing we value most entertainment-wise, so the systems naturally reinforce themselves. Users try to avoid being a target of ridicule here, and users that fail become content which keeps everyone else in line & occupied. And there's subforums dedicated to being outlets of dumb behavior, like doge sticker spamming and "forum games."

He's going through the middle stages of political zealot rehab. The first stage is realizing that the movement you dogmatically support doesn't give a fuck about you, which he learned the hard way during the destruction of GAF. Now he's opening himself up to actual discourse and listening to the opposing side. Assuming he doesn't relapse, he will soon become fully red pilled and realize that political affiliations are ultimately meaningless and the best policy is to just live and let live.

Something like Black Panther was a bit of a hard sell for some countries like China, to the point where the advertisements downplayed the black characters. Having a superhero movie with predominately LBGT characters is just asking for the movie to be banned in countries that don't have the tolerance or patience for such a thing.
And worst (but funniest) case would be him overconsuming redpills and becoming the next Cheong.
The GAF mods never had Evilore by the balls though. Lowtax pays lip service to his SJW cronies because they've got their tentacles wrapped so tightly around the site's inner workings that there's no way for him to get rid of them without torpedoing the entire thing. Evilore was never owned like that, he always had the final say and he did occasionally overrule the mods when they tipped their hand too heavily. You're right to a certain degree, but I don't think he was just a victim of circumstance. I think he (mostly) genuinely believed the angle he was allowing the forums to push and only reexamined his beliefs once he was faced with clear evidence that he was mistaken.
