From my understanding protective custody has a worse quality of life than genpop (assuming you can get along with others). In some cases it's borderline solitary confinement.

I've come to the conclusion that ResetEra is not just a hugbox. It is a hugbox that is so insulated, that its members assume that anyone who disagrees with them on anything from politics to sports is being "disingenuous".
Like, it's one thing to shut yourself off from outside opinions. But it really hits a whole new level when you assume that your detractors are deliberately being insincere and are lying about what they know, purely because they have a different world view than you.

There's a name for groups like that. They're called cults. It would be one thing if they said well, assholes like you aren't welcome, because we're a leftist site where opinions like yours aren't welcome. If you're going to come here and harsh our buzz, well, fuck you, man.
They actually assume their often extreme and demented opinions represent the mainstream, which they don't even on the left. They routinely ban moderate Democrats and people who say things like "maybe we should wait for some more actual evidence on Roy Moore" meanwhile Bill Clinton is completely innocent of any wrongdoing (some accusations like Juanita Broaddrick's are Tawana Brawley levels of bullshit but SOME of that shit happened).
Nobody could sincerely disagree with them on even the most minor point. Everyone who claims to, therefore, is a liar sent by Satan. . .I mean Hitler.

If Israel is committing genocide on Gaza, it's the world's lamest attempt at it. The Rwandan Hutus killed 800,000 people in a few months, and they mostly only had machetes. Israel has killed about a tenth of that many in all their wars with the Arabs since 1948.
More Palestianians died in the Syrian civil war than in the Israeli war with Gaza in 2014.

The vast majority of evangelical and neo conservative republicans are pro Israel. It's why as the Democrats have gone crazy on the anti Israel rhetoric that more Jewish Americans were identifying as Republican. It's a shame that as Bannon tries to hijack the party for the Richard Spencer's of the country that all the hard work courting Jews who are natural allies of conservatives is being wasted as the Neo Nazi's try to take over the party,

Just because someone doesn't constantly wave an Israeli flag like the neo-cons do doesn't make them an anti-semite, Bannon's definitely very conservative and right wing but I don't think he's an anti-semite. He's certainly not a neo-nazi either, he personally hired a 2nd generation immigrant from a muslim family (Raheem Kassam) as editor of Breitbart London and he was happy to work for Trump who is also incredibly pro-Israel. He's also happy to have a Jerusalem branch of Breitbart which is consistently very pro-Israel and pro-Judaism. If Bannon's a neo-nazi he's a comically bad one.
