Somethings I found weird about it is the sort of SJW hypocrisy. First the idea that "Xtreme edge shit" excludes huge demographics of people on a race or gender as if everyone in that race and gender get offended by the same thing. Kind of a sexist and racist statement. Second saying that publishers are responsible to move past masculine and violent games because some people don't like seeing it. They act like the video game industry is for everyone but if you like violent games well those are not allowed because some people who never would play them anyways might not like them.

What happened to the crowd that was constantly mocking "freeze peach?" Antifa bash their skulls in with a bike lock? It's always funny when they can't see how the causes they champion could easily turn against them.

I need to make a mental note of some of the guys defending Antifa. It's inevitable that some goon in a mask will wind up killing someone. I need to see how their Neogaf defense force reacts. Psychowave is one I've been spotting constantly.

It's a shame Neogaf isn't based in Germany. There's no way a site that encourages death threats towards the president and incubates members who demand cops get murdered would last for long.

Here's where they call H3H3 Productions alt-right gamergaters. I thought alt-right meant white nationalists/Nazi on Neogaf, but both of the people at H3H3 are Jewish. The lady was even born in Israel. Then again, Trump is a Nazi despite many of his children marrying or converting to Judaism. Their hate is almost exclusively because H3H3 makes fun of the insane people on Neogaf's side of the political aisle. We all know many Neogaf members are just plain insane.

Especially when you consider the demographics for shooters and sports games have numbers of black men that eclipse every other genre. Black guys aren't playing the path or dys4ia.

Yeah they get offended on the assumption that someone might get offended which is bonkers. They assume that no woman would ever like to play as a hot as fuck woman and that they would rather instead play as a strong landwhale who don't need no man.

That's the main logic of operation within the community: they think they can speak for everyone, but if ONE person in the opposing group does something that they deem unacceptable then it's concrete proof that that whole group is fucked. You can't like what you like, if you like violence you're just immature, grow up and face your future playing nothing but boring ames.

Took a quick peek at the first page, and I'm honestly surprised by how some of them aren't flipping the fuck out.

Knowing the mods, there might be a new purge for "wrong thinkers" in that thread in the near future.

I get the feeling Tyler is telling the mods to back off, there's be more vocal dissent about the state of NeoGAF without immediate bannings. Even in that very thread. Mods like Stumpokapow used to ban people for suspected wrongthink, where now he's replying with toothless snark.

It's always so enjoyable to watch them try to be 8) about their ban messages, when it's evident from their absurd lack of joy and humor everywhere else that they're just seething with righteous indignation about yet another uppity shitlord not knowing his place, right in their sacred halls.
