Imagine boycotting your favorite video games because the publisher uses AI to do searches and research and error checks. Not even in-game assets or writing or voices or even coding (though it will be that too).
These people get exhausted so much from seeing basic news.

Im not going to post all the nonsense in a 7+ page thread. They keep saying things like "AI can't have ideas! You cant brainstorm with AI..." when thats literally what a billion people use AI for weekly. They say AI can't make a game because no one wants to play a robot generated game.
Meanwhile, one of the main things I use AI for is roleplaying games (like pathfinder). When I DM, I use it for some ideas, generating names, encounter ideas, some descriptions, all the things capcom is talking about. I am good enough to tweak the ideas and make them my own though. When I am bored, I have it DM for me for a solo game. Grok is very good at this.
It really really seems like these people tried AI once in 2023 and assume it has never changed from the era of shitty models.

The literal pedo,diaper fur who collects used children's underwear says using AI for error checking is insane even though its one of the main uses of claude. QA and Code checking are one of the biggest businesses right now. Mozilla used claude to find and patch more firefox critical issues in a month than the last two years combined.
It's pretty ironic that the users over at resetera constantly belittle everyone for tribalism but then turn around and do exactly the same thing when they are under the illusion that they are on the "right" side of history. AI really is the gift that keeps on giving. They will probably bitch and moan about it until the forum shuts down.
