Imagine this is your coworker or something. Just insane. I log onto Kiwifarms, easily a top-hated site on the Internet... everyone is friendly here. At worst I get hit with a dumb sticker or something. Getting actually mad on here is considered embarrassing. Then I log onto Resetera (not really, but as an example) and see someone outright telling me to assassinate people. And KF is the problem?

How does NeoGAF even have any members left posting at this point? At least the troon weirdos at ResetEra give reasons for banning people, even if they're bullshit. On NeoGAF? "We're done" is the reason given to a member who has been on that site for 20 years and he was seemingly banned for literally no reason. If you look at those posts there isn't anything wrong with them at all. Even a mentally ill furry tranny creature wouldn't be offended by the posts that I saw by him. What is the mental state of the NeoGAF owner? He seems like a total cunt even by modern videogame message board standards. Does he just randomly hate people for no reason and then ban them?
Try to post on Reddit, ResetEra, or any "safe space" forum or social media without getting insulted and treated like shit by their users or promptly banned for giving an unpopular opinion. On here no one has ever attacked me for my opinion. Sure, I've gotten stickers calling my posts "autistic", but I don't necessarily disagree with those, either.

In ManaByte's case, he has a decades-long history of just being an absolute asshole who was one of the "protected posters" before the split, and he's been banned for being a dick probably half a dozen times since then. He has a tendency to just spam threads with personal beefs anytime someone bruises his fragile ego, and acted like he owned the place. Anyone on the board knows what the ban reason meant, but it does fly in the face of the whole "reconcilliation and openness" song and dance Tyler the Sex Pest went through in 2018. He had promised a legit reason for every ban, and a link to the post that triggered the ban, if there was one specific post that made them drop the hammer.
And Tyler STILL lets PCMR douchebags post in ways anyone else would be banned for, without any consequence.

A democrat made fun of Governor Abbot for being in a wheel chair and Resetera is currently melting down. Most are saying you shouldn't use ablest language, some people are saying you can use ablest language to make fun of people you don't like.
I love that its fully allowed in the rules to use racial slurs on resetera if youre being openly racist against a republican.

It should always be okay to use ableist language, whether it's to make fun of someone you don't like, someone you don't care about, or someone you do like.
One of my favorites was when Jeremy Clarkson called Gordon Brown a "one-eyed Scottish idiot." Too bad he apologized.

Resetera moderator Slayven learns about a 2017 isekai anime for the first time and decides to make a topic about the fact he doesn't know shit about anime.
There's a few people in there taking Slayven's side, but most users are saying its a good anime, its old at this point, etc.
Im honestly surprised they're allowed to like this one, considering the fact that the main character hates communism and joined the Germans, and constantly kills commies and tells other that communists aren't people so you can commit war crimes on them. One guy is trying to cancel it though.

Yeah, it is mostly a couple of ESL linkdroppers who never interact with the board and a regular crew of posters now, although a new batch of users got approved last week.
