One of Resetera's several dozen Elden Ring threads is about how it's impossible to make a good-looking black character. Now, I'm not unreasonable. I love character customization and it WOULD be frustrating to consistently not be able to make the character in my race. But of course because it's Resetera, the thread is full of retardedness and the dumbest types of blame.

Except that's stupid. Getting proper lighting for your photography subject has always been about choosing the right exposure length (0r film speed) for your subject and environment. Getting a black person to look good in a picture is about knowing how to choose your film and set your camera, not about waiting for Kodak to make "black people film".
