You know, I think eventually Malka's tactic of laxitive purging of undesirables is gonna become standard medical practice for online communities. I've never seen someone shed their dead weight like that. Talk about turning your disasters into opportunities.

Imagine if Lowtax had done that literally ever. Shit, he still could and it would cause a rebound bump.

I think it would be a dead cat bounce for SA at this point. So much would have to be done and even then, it would be like lightning striking twice. If he had had any sense, and still was just as lazy, he would have sold it when the selling was good.

What happened with NeoGAF would be difficult to replicate, since it was the result of a failure to hijack NeoGAF entirely and take it over by the troon SJW types. Then they tard raged and took their ball and went over to REEEEE Era instead, which has been a colossal failure.

Yeh, Lowtax is boned longterm, but dead cat or not, any bounce would be a godsend for him.

I think neogaf's strategy could be adapted to any number of toxic elements. Most forums I've been on have some form of offsite, but the relationship was always mutually adversarial. The response is what's unprecedented to me - the full embrace of that offsite with strong culture changes to facilitate the toxins leaving. Angry members storming out is unavoidable, but it apparently doesn't have to be a culture drain, and instead can be a crystallization of the best parts.

I really don't get this cotton ceiling thing. Especially when the people who espouse it write off anyone who does want to date a trans person as "chasers" which are also problematic.

It's almost as if they are more interested in finding new and exciting new ways to be oppressed and aggrieved.

Thing is that guy was probably getting matched with people who actually have gender dysphoria. Given how cordial they were in the exchange.

The problem is that ResetERA is run by people who THINK they have it because it's supposed to solve all their problems. Which is why they're so fucking aggressive when it's challenged.

All of this said I'm not a psychiatrist, I'm just a speculationist.

There's an interesting duality here. McCain was not liked by either the right or left, because he was not only on the wrong side of so many issues (on BOTH sides; how does he not have a lifetime achievement award for that), but he was a shameless triangulator who would happily undermine himself by backing whoever was more likely to help him at the time. Basically, he was the Right's Joe Lieberman, and just as loathed overall.

Yet despite this, McCain was from an older era, and most recognize that while there's a lot to hate about the guy, he was in politics since dinosaurs were around and he was willing to do whatever he could in spite of being very clearly hated by everyone involved. There's a level of respectability in that, something that I think the Right and Left can generally agree upon, even if they hate the guy for entirely justified reasons.

The dude's dead, let his loved ones grieve.

That is idiotic.

One of the most popular mods ever is Caliente Beautiful Bodies Edition (the mod this imbecile is whining about), and even if you aren't someone who is depraved, a very good non perverse reason to get it is because Bethseda's stock textures and meshes look like crap. You can always slap the never nude option on at install to get the better texture and mesh work while still keeping it relatively clean.

And even if you just want naked bodies cause realism or even less savory reasons, I don;t see why this idiot is whining anyway. It's a choice YOU have to do that or not, and even Bethseda released actual naked skins for some of their games (i.e. - Oblivion), and let's face it, sex sells, so for this idiot to whine is just being dumb.
