I never wanted to stand above straight people, I just wanted things to be the same when I came out, that we could still smoke weed and go to work and have a conversation, and that would be that.

And it was like that. Straight people showed remarkable growth throughout the years, and unbelievable inclusion and acceptance. I actually think the LGBT should have shown gratitude and appreciation for the progress that was made. I certainly appreciate it.
