I hate to blackpill here but the Franchise is pretty much gutted after Nyarla and co. realize the guy above them was just an asshole and jumped ship, leaving the copyright behind, think of Skibidi Rizz but the other way around. If you look at KAngel's Twitter Account right now it's just a front to milk toys and merchandise and all attempts to push the franchise save for the Anime is pretty much dead meat.

I heard that Nyalra has plans to lawsuit WSS/Alliance Arts for Needy Girl's copyright but it's not looking very good since I've heard little about it after the initial bad news broke, and I hope that he gets the IP rights back (even if the chances are borderline nil).

(Oh right and do you know that the Dragonbaby "woke" localization is only possible under the new WSS/Alliance Arts as well? It never happens with Needy Girl under Nyalra.)

What program are you using to make these?

They're really fucking good, there's a ton of detail and not much artifacts with the text/facial expressions.

Don't forget about nyalra's blog which is basically supplemental material for the anime.
I have a theory about the nyalra/WSS drama: nyalra got creative control over the anime and could do whatever he wants with it in exchange for not suing them (effectively surrendering any rights he might've had) and keeping quiet over the ordeal. During production, WSS saw what he was actually doing with the anime and tried to tardwrangle him at which point the Twitter drama happened. To avoid a trainwreck, they went back to the negotating table and nyalra agreed to change a few things (probably near the end) and they called it a day.

It makes sense given nyalra sees the Needy Girl Project as a dead end so he gets to larp as Anno (and set up a possible spin-off with Karmazov/or some other group) while WSS can keep pumping merchandise until everyone forgets it ever existed. Win-win for everyone especially since anime adaptations aren't that common (especially when you're indie or even AA).

Episode 11 is the promised Ame-centric arc, The intro being schizo version of the usual one sums up everything you need to know:

The episode is basically half crashout and half backstory.
The first half is Ame crashing out while she thinks she's being almost raped or something and pukes them away. She's also naked the whole time (just in case you're curious).
The back half is Ame being almost raped (again) and bullied (again) and copes by schizoing an Alice-lookalike and magical girl from anime she likes. Then Ame realizes that they are useless and KAngel is born.

Adding to the Jesus analogy the interlude is a mock court trial where she gets told she needs to see Hell before it balances out. I could be looking too deep into it but the schizo friends could be an allusion to the two people that were crucified alongside Jesus, not sure though.

Personally I would like to think that Nyalra was waiting for the anime to end before he takes further action because from what I heard Yunyun Syndrome was also executively tampered and the director of that game was already issuing complaints. It was very clear that it was their backup plan to sell merchandise in case if they failed the lawsuit with Nyalra.

(As of a side note, the Dragonbaby Jew translations are likely ordered by Saitou at least in a "do whatever you want" manner -- this did NOT happen under Nyalra. A lot of the dark gritty stuff on YYS are also heavily toned down compared to what it could be for the same reason.)
