US NASA is getting serious about UFOs - "We don't know if it's extraterrestrial. We don't know if it's an enemy. We don't know if it's an optical phenomenon," Nelson said. "We don't think [it's an optical phenomenon].

NASA's new chief is setting up an effort to further study unidentified flying objects within his first month in office.
Bill Nelson, the former Florida senator and spaceflight veteran, told CNN Business' Rachel Crane during a wide-ranging interview on Thursday that it's not clear to anyone — even in the upper echelons of the US space agency — what the high-speed objects observed by Navy pilots are.
Nelson added that he does not believe the UFOs are evidence of extraterrestrials visiting Earth. "I think I would know" if that were the case, Nelson said. But, he acknowledged, it'd be premature to rule that out as a possibility.
Nelson's comments echo the findings of a new Pentagon report expected to be released later this month. Five sources familiar with the results of that study told CNN that US intelligence officials found no evidence that the UFOs are alien spacecraft, but investigators also have not reached a definitive assessment as to what these mysterious objects might be.
"We don't know if it's extraterrestrial. We don't know if it's an enemy. We don't know if it's an optical phenomenon," Nelson said. "We don't think [it's an optical phenomenon] because of the characteristics that those Navy jet pilots described ... And so the bottom line is, we want to know."
NASA press secretary Jackie McGuinness said Nelson did not establish a formal task force to begin investigating UFOs. However, he did direct researchers to move forward with exploring any lines of questioning around the topic as they see fit.
"There's not really a lot of data and...scientists should be free to follow these leads, and it shouldn't be stigmatized," McGuinness said, acknowledging that UFO research can be negatively associated with unfounded conspiracy theories. "This is a really interesting phenomenon and Americans are clearly interested in it [so if] the scientists want to investigate, they should."
UFOs have long been an object of fascination in the United States and abroad, and that obsession was fueled in 2017 with a bombshell New York Times report about numerous incidents in which US military pilots observed mysterious, oblong objects darting around at high speeds and a secretive government investigation into the topic.
One of the most famous sightings, captured in a 2004 video nicknamed the "Tic Tac" because of the UFOs' close resemblance to a certain cylindrical breath mint, shows the small, ghostly object zipping out of frame, appearing to defy "the normal laws of physics," as the pilot who captured the footage told New York Magazine in 2019.
Another, captured in 2015 by a US Navy Super Hornet fighter jet and published by the Times in 2019, shows a strange, rounded object flying directly into 120 mph winds. The pilots can be heard shouting expletives as they wonder aloud whether they're looking at a drone before the object appears to halt, hover and eerily tilts itself forward.
Nelson said NASA is not working directly with the Pentagon on that report, but he said if NASA's scientists are able to make headway in identifying the objects, "the Pentagon will know."
During a press briefing on Wednesday, Thomas Zurbuchen, an astrophysicist and NASA's associate administrator for science, indicated he does not believe the UFOs are evidence of a technologically advanced alien civilization.
"People tend to underestimate nature. Nature is an amazing place where a lot of miracles happen. And once we understand, it's like, 'Why didn't we think of that?'" he said. "In the realm of science we're all about unidentified issues and objects...So, using the tools of science, we will do whatever we can to move our understanding forward."
Kathy Lueders, NASA's associate administrator for human exploration and operations, chimed in to add, jokingly, "If anyone knows how to do spacecraft design like that I would love to talk to you."

If they really are aliens I still like to think that we're just some tourist destination. That these are basically intergalactic glass-bottom boat rides we're seeing.

Did NASA run out of Nazi scientists to work on their actual space program? Explains why they had to recruit some special effects people from Hollywood to make fake UFOs instead.

Really makes me wonder what they are trying to draw attention away from...

Or what they're softening us up for.

"Of course we have to go to war with China! They have stealth drones! Who knows what the inscrutable Chinee might have poised to unleash upon us from their Mandarin clutches!"

(why yes I do think we elected Ernest T. Zwiebel as president, why do you ask?)

Didn't Wernher von Braun warn of a fake Alien invasion will come after the fake terrorism(came true) to install the NWO?

Everything I've seen so far looks like either an unfocused lens and a camera aperture (as in lens flare), or a bug crawling across the lens. It's pretty telling that absolutely no two UFOs look or behave the same, and that with all of the high dollar imaging equipment involved the best we can ever get is out of focus, grainy footage (like you'd get if you were trying to see something that was way too close to the lens or if the lens was... out of focus.)

NASA has a history of overplaying shit like this. They want funding and they're not above clickbait to find it.

Extraterrestrials except humanity is the lolcow.

Real talk: I’m way more concerned about the space rocks that whiz past us daily— some of which we discover mere days before they zip by due to their size—than I am about extraterrestrials. And I’m not even really “concerned” about that, but if I had to pick one it’d be space rocks.

Is it cool to imagine? Totally. I like to imagine that if there are aliens, they only come to Earth for whatever the galactic equivalent of NASCAR is and race around the solar system using the planets for gravity boosts.

Complete Alex Jones take: there's a planet-killer headed at us from an off-angle direction, and everything over the last six or seven years has been to distract everyone so we can at least die oblivious rather than screaming in fear and agony for a decade.

I don't think that's really happening, but I could absolutely see governments being so utterly awful as to deny people the truth just so the top .01% of the governing people in the world could live out the last years of humanity in relative peace and quiet, versus a totally nihilistic population coming for them and burning down their mansions and seats of power.

The nigger cattle are ripe for harvest. The total enslavement has already happened. People wore useless face nappies for a year, to only make the rag soggy. There is no need to conquer what is already conquered.

People will continue to soil for a cause that doesn't benefit them. Keep gathering resources to enrich your slaver, and to employ your own prison guards. The collective retardation will ensure that you can never escape.

The embedded enslavement can only gain new layers.

Four possibilities:

1) Project Blue Beam is about to kick off. For those who don't know it, it's the faking of an alien invasion so that people all over the world surrender their will to the governments 'who will protect us from teh aliunz'

2) This is advanced tech from Russia, China or NK (I won't go in to it here so just humour me) and the American governments are trying to crowd source as much info as possible. "Citizens, it is your duty to photograph, record and report any unidentifiable flying objects!" Remember, we all have a recording device that we didn't have 15 years ago.

3) It's all true. They've been here for millennia and all of the conspiracy theories are true; the pyramids of Mars, jesus being an alien, Visitations going on for centuries, documented for decades. All this is coming to light because we have too many people recording too much stuff. 20 years ago you could laugh at shaky VHS footage. Nowadays with all the 4k cameras? You ain't hiding that.

4) It's a distraction for an upcoming main event, maybe election fraud. Remember which political party offered full disclosure in 2016? Podesta and Clinton; the dems. Who is in power now? The Dems.

Or it could be the US government trying to see how much people notice X while wanting to disguise it.

Until we see clear footage of an UFO or see a smelly and weird thing coming from them or on another planet's surface we won't have proof of aliens.
It's all new aircrafts or (((them))) trying to scare us ala wuflu once again.
How many articles were posted before that told the same in the past few years? This is the first openly gay disney character of ufology.

They will never be able to pull this off. Actual Aliens will have tech..magic as per Arthur C. Clarke. And they will not be woke or PC.
