Cosmo once again showing that he has no idea how things work. GSP is calculated on a per-character and per-matchup basis. He's not just being ranked on how good of a player he is - he's being ranked on how good of a Palutena he is. Palutena is one of the best characters in Smash Ultimate with a huge number of high-tier and professional players playing as her. You need to prove yourself a lot harder to stand out amongst them and gain GSP on your Palutena. That's why one loss is devastating and one victory is minor when it comes to gaining or losing points. Top tier Palu players lose significantly less frequently, so each loss he incurs means more than a loss on a low-tier character might.

If an opponent is playing a character that's less popular or has a lower win rate, and they win on them, they have a lot more GSP to gain out of it because winning on them is clearly more difficult. Having a 60% win rate on Wolf might be enough to stand out but you might need 80-90% on Palutena.

He's trying to have his cake and eat it too. He wants to play the S+ tier character and also easily gain GSP while doing so. That's not how this works. Smash has decided that while his win rate might be high, it's below average for Palutena players. And it's putting him where he belongs.

He’s a glutton for punishment judging by his frequent interactions with S&T. Couple that with a social media addiction and you’ve got a recipe for interesting.

Cosmo will never leave twatter and for cataloguing purposes I think that’s just fine
 
She's so far removed from understanding how competitive games (and humans) work that she thinks she can systematise the grind and that the computer will crunch the numbers and prove to everyone how great she is. Her soy-rotted brain may as well have turned her into a bot who can't see beyond the dopamine of numbers climbing on a chart. She is so far from what you need: a community of high level people to practice against, not ladder heroes fighting tooth and nail to scum every advantage. Ladder is where top players go to unwind, but it's Narcissa's entire life because she's a baby who is incapable of questioning her actions. She's also flat-out stupid for not noticing such basic failings of method, but that is because she's not a competitive gamer, she is a former speed runner who is trying to shoehorn those practice techniques into Smash and she's too damn old to adapt.

I SAY IT AND I SAY IT OUTLOUD EVERYDAY TO PEOPLE IN MY STREAM CHAT AND ALL THEY DO IS PROVE PEOPLE IN STREAM CHAT CAN STILL BE IMMATURE JERKS. I don't watch Narcissa's streams, so when I do hear and shit like this it's so absolutely jarring and distressing to know that this is the same person I was watching drawl over Ocarina of Time to thousands of other people just a few years ago. I've never seen a human being's personality make such a 180 in my entire life.

I think there are quite a few viewers of the thread that have been biding their time. There hasn’t been an awful lot of khantent from Cosmo lately. Couple that with S&T and their discord that’s probably about 90-100 viewers right there
