I think something were all forgetting is that Cosmo was never good at smash. Like they were decent, but if you saw them play melee it was... yeah. Like if they were to play in a Cali local I don’t think they would’ve made it out of pools.
 
On his new channel he has only one active mod so far, "Yak". On the old one, there were several: Jolyne Kraepel, Issac, Danielle Scorgie, nathanisbored (naturally), Red_Proletariat (of course) and a couple others. For now Narco probably just ignored the wrongthinkers, because old-school fanboys (sic) like D_Girl, Hwan Tea, Willow and nathanisbored are watching the new channel but have not been modded yet.
 
I'm watching and Narc's Palutena is actually really solid.

I mean dude's still a psycho cave dweller but I'll give em props that their Palu play is passable.

EDIT: Also they have no right to complain about joints or w/e they're shorthopping 24/7 even when there's no one near them or on the stage

Palu is baby mode with tons of easy bake combos as well as packing a strong projectile, reflect and counter. Of course he plays her.
 
Narcy is playing these fights like his life depends on it and half of these dudes are just fucking around with characters. I wonder if he thinks he's any good. That Ike he just fought was clearly just practicing.

I don't know why Narcissa thinks competitive gaming is the same as speedrunning. With speedrunning you sink loads of time into something until you are mechanically better than other people. It requires little talent or creativity for the most part, only endless repetition in an unchanging scenario (excluding new tricks being learned). With fighting or competitive games you require some level of skill for the game, and a lot of creativity/reading into the meta and opponent that goes beyond just autistic button mashing. Narcissa is not capable of this, she wasn't as Cosmo (he was good but not high level at smash), and especially isn't now.

At this point he's so far drawn into this fantasy world he's created with the help of marijuana and Troondom that I don't think anything short of long term rehab will be able to break this delusion. Many people can responsibly use weed but for Kosmo it's obviously no the case. He's gotta quit smoking and integrate himself back into the real world. I honestly doubt he'll ever do it. Or maybe at 40 he'll decide he's had enough. If he makes it that long.

It's not that he approaches Smash like speedrunning (he's been playing Smash and irregularly competing in low-level tourneys for as long as he's been speedrunning), it's that he stubbornly and angrily refuses to learn and improve.

But that would make sense from a speedrunning perspective. He thinks if he just does the same shit over and over again for long enough, it'll click and he'll be a champion.
Even if you discount that, I don't think he bothers learning or improving because that would take effort.

Amazing her last match was against Mario and she lost.

I also checked to see what place Jade was at since she also joined this Naifu Wars. Well, she got 13th place by playing a mix of Bowser Jr. and King K Rool. She won 8 out of 10 matches while Narc won 3 out of 5. Better luck next time Narc!

Watching Narc fighting the Mario is actually a little boring, considering Narc is just short hopping for bairs and nairs at times. I rarely have seen Narc try grab combos like most Palus would try to attempt. It's honestly like watching Rosalina fight, which is guarantee a snore fest.

Here's the fight if anyone wants to see it. The Mario was playing a little aggressive at times. Despite him baiting for forward smash attacks, the Mario was a pretty good challenge for Narc since Mario can easily obliterate anyone depending on the user. Also that sigh at the end after Narc lost.
