Usually, force of habit. I can only speak for myself, but if I write a traditionally female name, I reflexively use female pronouns. If I catch it before posting I might go back and change, but I think more often than not the content of the post shows that it isn't being done out of respect, especially if they're being called a troon in the same post. With CWC specifically, I think that's part of why people still refer to him as Chris. Or why people tend to use Labelle in the Assigned Male thread over Sophie, or Wu instead of Brianna.

I do it as a manner of respect. I´d never mention Blair White as a dude, or any other trans that isn´t lulzworthy.

But Riley? Narcissa? They are nuts and I come here to make fun of them, not to respect their feelings.

First hour and a half is him just replying in chat, complaining about how no one watches him anymore, when they do watch him practicing speedrunning they all complain that it's boring, no one understands the intricacies of how speedrunning the game works, Twitch viewer IQ is 65, etc.

A month or two ago I was in the stream as Narcissa was hanging out in VR chat saying and doing nothing, looking absolutely miserable. Someone drops a new 25 dollar subscription (those renew monthly) and Narcissa totally blanks it like it didn't happen, despite a big noisy alert popping up on screen. I PM'd the guy about this. He was genuinely sad he didn't even get a thank you. He said he just did it to cheer Narcissa up and agreed it was a waste he won't repeat.

The next day I tune in and Narcissa is staring at that VR chat castle made from her initials, not really doing anything. Narcissa out of the blue demands "someone give me three dollars, come on three dollars!" Of course nobody does. She then explained that she had put lots of 'hard work' into making this 'NW' castle and had been given no appreciation for it. Someone regular in chat pointed out that this was not normally how you make money. Narcissa immediately started calling them a leech, accusing them of taking her free entertainment (streaming herself staring at her initials) and giving nothing back.
