Her high consumption is because of energy (kcal) dense foods, huge portions, and near constant eating. An entire 2L bottle of soda pop, like Pepsi, is only around 900 kcal and that is just liquid sugar. A sugar coffee drink is maybe 600 kcal with lots of extras. The 8 ounces (half a pound!) of Reese's is a scant 1200kcal. Stuffing all three down her gullet in one day is only 2700kcal. She still needs over 3000kcal more based on her rate of weight gain. An entire pizza would add another 2400kcal. Still not enough. It is astounding. This is like what a family would eat in a day consumed by one enormous disgusting person and it is not yet enough calories for the amount of weight she was gaining.
I do not want to be a Distrusting Darrell, but you have to consider that she may not actually understand the concept of eating in moderation.
