MUSLIMS are demanding a boycott of Marks and Spencer because they claim its toilet rolls have the word “Allah” embossed in Arabic.

M&S insists the design shows an aloe vera leaf — but more than 2,000 have signed a petition accusing the chain of “deliberately insulting our religion”.

It comes after a viral video claimed Arabic script can be seen in the repeating pattern on the three-ply aloe scented paper.

It shows a man taking one roll from a £2.50 pack and inspecting it on a car roof.

So what do you think? Deliberate insult, or shitty coincidence?

Asher yatzar (Hebrew: ברכת) אשר יצר) "Who [has] formed [man(kind)]") is a blessing in Judaism. It is traditionally recited after engaging in an act of excretion,but is also included in many Jewish prayer books as a part of daily prayer prior to birkot hashachar.

The purpose of this blessing is to thank God for good health. It expresses thanks for having the ability to excrete, for without it existence would be impossible.

Though recited normally by observant Jews each time excretory functions are used, hence giving it the name the "bathroom blessing", it is also recited during the Shacharit service due to its spiritual significance (to Jews, humans are made in God's image, so it is an expression of awe toward God's creations).

You'll find these in public restrooms fairly often in places with lots of Orthodox jews.

There's a difference though. That's saying "hey thanks God for letting me take a gnarly crap" and not an elaborate ritual of ass wiping before you run into a shopping mall and explode.

Or when a certain variety of trainers in the early 90s had a pattern on the doors that looked like "Allah" in Arabic script, which was obviously a kaffir ploy to make them stomp on the name of God.

I wonder if it's because of their rules against idolatry - they aren't allowed pictures so they find them elsewhere? Actually strike that, I just remembered that Africans and Mexicans are particularly prone to it too, so it's probably just that they all celebrate religious-motivated ignorance.
