I've seen quite a few people performing his stuff recently, he's been getting really popular for some reason. Though in all likelihood it's probably because of TikTok, whenever a relative niche artist skyrockets to popularity seemingly out of nowhere it's usually because somebody made a popular TikTok with one of their songs, just look at MGMT.

My personal recommendation for a whiskey bar is Colter Wall. I fucking love his stuff, his voice is incredibly unique, he is more of a modern-day Johnny Cash if that's what you're looking for.

Comparing Colter Wall to Cash is outright haram. He's good but they are two VERY different artists.
 
Seasick Steve, although his stuff tends to be more of a blues-country fusion than traditional country.

Oh for sure, they are stylistically very different. I guess I worded that poorly, I was trying to say that Colter Wall has a very unique voice, similar to Cash's iconic low gravely voice.
